In Math we started to look at skip counting patterns. This is a friendly reminder to all family members of students to leave the two marked parking spaces for All Saints' Fest Parking open. Each year during our annual auction, these two spots are highly sought after and paid for through bidding that ultimately benefits all of the children in our school. If you are interested in one of these annual parking spaces, please plan to attend our auction to bid on this benefit! In the meantime, please be allow those who won this privilege to take full advantage of it. Join Instagram to see pictures of what we are doing in 2nd grade. My username is mrsstafford2nd. We will be looking story elements, focusing on plot (beginning, middle, and end). In Math we will be learning about addition strategies. These strategies are different ways to help us add, but that does not mean that your child has to use them. Some of these strategies work better for some, and may not work well for others. Our class will be reading about Noah and Abram in Religion. We will look at how God gave both of them a promise, and how God keep each of his promises.
