2nd Grade News
This week we read a couple of books about plants. The students really enjoyed looking at the diagrams in our books, and are looking forward to having some hands on exploration of plants next week. This is a friendly reminder to all family members of students to leave the two marked parking spaces for All Saints' Fest Parking open. Each year during our annual auction, these two spots are highly sought after and paid for through bidding that ultimately benefits all of the children in our school. If you are interested in one of these annual parking spaces, please plan to attend our auction to bid on this benefit! In the meantime, please be allow those who won this privilege to take full advantage of it. Mark your calendars. November 2nd is the date for the 25th All Saint’ Fest. The All Saints’ Fest is the largest annual fundraiser for Our Shepherd Lutheran School. It is an evening for adults to be held at the Grand Hall on High School Road. There will be fine food, fellowship, and silent and live auctions. Tickets go on sale the weekend of Sept. 15th and 16th. You can also get involved by donating new items for the auction that evening. Collection box and donation forms are across from the coat racks. Proceeds this year will be used for the STEAM trail and robotics programs as well as tuition assistance.
